Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow creeps in this petty pace from day to day

Someone on food stamps should be taxed the same as someone who inherited daddy's billions, yeah seems pretty fair

I strongly dislike the song and find it disgusting to listen to, but this just seems petty. Like even me, who hates it, acknowledges that it did really well and appealed to a large crowd.

I watched a fantastic documentary on this topic that I strongly recommend everyone watch with an open mind, even if you end up disagreeing. Bowling for Columbine is a great film that encapsulates the issues with American gun culture, and why the arguments that you're different from the rest of the world fall apart. And regulation of guns is by no means taking them away. To ban guns entirely or even to ban all semi auto's would be a stupid move, its all about appropriate regulation.

Which is also the case in almost all western nations...
The US needs to change its opinion that it is somehow different from the rest of the world. Australia has a higher diversity of culture and it worked for us

Not only that but she was something like 80 years old, and the coffee was at 150 something degrees Celsius (302F). Definitely worth more then 800 bucks

I understand that in that sort of scenario a cop would feel the need to open fire, but the fact is that in most other countries, police shootings are a rarity. Police officers don't fear for their lives like in America because that sort of thing just doesn't happen. I think this scenario says more about America than the cop or citizen

Yet most countries allow alcohol, which many recent studies have shown to be more harmful

You'd think so judging by the name, but it's not. It isn't possible anytime soon but it is possible. They essentially found a loophole in the law of, nothing can travel faster than light, and mathematically proved said loophole. Here's a link to an article discussing it, but if you want in-depth, I suggest watching the video at the bottom of it.

It works on paper sure, but the amount of raw materials and energy required is at least a couple of hundred years away, as currently, we cant even conceive of a way to get the required ingredients. However, it is still a pretty cool notion that it is indeed possible to achieve this.

Well technically since space is considered international territory, it follows the same laws as international maritime law. So yeah, space has laws

So many people don't realise just how awful it would be to not feel pain. Almost every kid when they're younger put their hand on a barbeque or stove and recoil immediately, and learn never to touch it again, but people who don't feel pain can literally cook their entire hand like a beef patty and just not notice if they aren't paying attention, or as a little kid you might be curious as to why your hand is turning this weird black colour. It's a genuinely awful condition.

As a gen z simply observing those around me I would place it at least 1 in 3 are suffering from depression, its ridiculously high. Now keep in mind im not an expert or anything but I would suggest its far higher then the actual stats show, due to most people just not talking about it.

Huge difference between recreational drugs and hard drugs. Things like cannabis and few others are fine if taken responsibly, but things such as heroin and methamphetamines are a no go fullstop

Countless studies have been done into how video games affect children IRL. The short answer is they don't. However in specific cases where they already have an underlying illness like schizophrenia, which blur the lines in reality, then it can have an impact. However for 99.99% of kids its just a game.

A variety of games have tried this concept, specifically Dead by Daylight and Friday the 13th, though the latter only has one monster. They are very good games in their own right, but do feel like they are a bit technologically behind what is required to truly make this work
