Numpad vs. Dial pad

You know who else followed the telephone example? Microwave ovens. You were the future microwave ovens, you should have been on the computers' side. Why don't we just be done with it and have a rotary dial fitted on all microwaves when we want to heat up our pizza for 90 seconds, rotary dials like we had on telephones in 1974 eh? You've got me dithering for a second trying to work out which number to press, I wanted a 9 you've got my finger hovering over the 3. Microwave ovens - turncoats the lot of them.

I'm used to using a computer, but I just got a tablet and the keypad is messed up and it keeps throwing me off.

They did this to slow down the dial speed of people back when the phone was first invented so they could keep up with the dial. Basically it was meant to confuse us.

Now you mentioned it, I will doubt my every move.
