Is there such a thing as a man who undergoes an operation to become a woman, only to still dress like a man afterward? Are they transgendervestites? And I'm being serious here, I'm curious and would like to know.
One more thing if this man who became a woman, but still dresses like a man, still chooses to date women, does this make him a lesbian?
For starters, most of us prefer to distance ourselves from the term transvestite. It's usually used in a hateful and incorrect way by cisgender people. Hm. That wouldn't have a particular label unless they give themselves one. That could just make them a tomboy. Just because you're a woman doesn't mean you have to be feminine. And yes, transwomen can be lesbians. They can also be bisexual, pansexual, etc.
Thank you for information. I did not know that transv****** was a word that was connected to hateful or bad meanings, but none the less I'll refrain from using it. Peace be with you <3
You too. It's alright. You didn't know. For the most part, you just have to be careful how you're using the word. It applies to crossdressing people only.
