Fun fact: Robin was based on the Errol Flynn version of Robin Hood from The Adventures of Robin Hood 1938 - hence the costume and name. Robin Hood didn't have any super powers either.
Haha, I'mma let you in on a little secret. I used to have the biggest crush on Robin. I kinda still do... But it was crazy, it was on the "having fantasies" about him level. Why do the best men have to be fictional??? This is how I feel about every book, and every anime.
Oh my god, I did too! It got to the point of me creating my own alter ego and inserting myself into situations involving him. Mainly because I had insomnia and was bored out of my skull at night, but still. Ikr? Real people, compared to fictional characters, are just blah.
YES. I love Lee so much<3 Robin uses tools and all.. But, Lee uses PURE perseverance and determination to reach his goals. He doesn't let anybody get him down.
"Among strong people exists genius types and hard-working types. If your Sharingan is a genius-type from the Uchiha blood, I am simply a hard-working type who has mastered only taijutsu; Hardwork surpasses genius" <3
OBJECTION!
He did, in a sense, die. In "Batman RIP", it was only through a massive temporal paradox that he came back. However, until he did, Nightwing took over the position of Batman. Nightwing, who was the first Robin.
You are right though. One Robin did "die". He came back, however, without use of a distortion of the space-time continuum. Jason Todd, Robin number two, came back under the alias "The Red Hood". A sort of slap in the face for the Joker, the original Red Hood.
TLDR: Batman died, and came back by having another mutilate Time. Robin faked his death and came back.

So what? Are you saying that you're not allowed to be inspired by a fictional character? Not looking too deeply into it, Robin (and characters like him) showed me that you don't have to be special (IE: pretty, smart, athletic) to make a difference. I'm none of those things, but if I see someone getting beat up, damn straight I'll step in. These shows were meant to inspire children, the same way Harry Potter and the like were meant to reintroduce magic into kids who were growing up and losing it. Just because he's not real doesn't mean we can't learn from him.
