I didn't know the brothers so I gave it a quick Google: they're James, Simon, Jude (or Judas) and Jose (or Joseph), as well as some unnamed sisters.

It was the culture of the time that made women seem inferior, the New Testament considered women basically equal to men. (although the Old Testament was rather sexist)

You know, those 6 hours of dieting on the cross were really hard for Jesus - especially when his brother turned up, like you said, and started taunting him with doughnuts and cake ;)

The term brother or sister in this context is meant to be interpreted as close friend or follower, they could've also been his cousins from Joseph's side. Jesus' mother is called the Virgin Mary for a reason.

Why is everyone discussing the details of the life of an imaginary man?

Don't call him imaginary. You might not believe in him and I don't either but other people take it really seriously and it's kinda disrespectful and abnoxious of you to say that.

Personally, I don't really believe in god, but I think Jesus was a real person. Just my perspective. :)

historians have proved that Jesus existed. there isn't any proof that he was the Son of God but even some muslim people acknowledge that he existed.
