This is very true. Except no one actually sits on the beach with coffee. Only tourists do that.

My grandparents are in Florida and I was talking to her on the phone a week or two ago, and she said it got down into the 60's and everyone was all bundled up in coats, boots and hats as if it were below zero.

I was visiting florida and floridians were doing this and i was walking down the street with swim trunks and a t shirt and everyone was staring in shock

I live in Florida and yeah it can be cold but I only put on a sweatshirt when the wind picks up. But there is people who complain. I guess growing up in a northern state makes you tolerable to the cold.

As a Floridian I can confirm, but remember that people down here are used to upper 90 degree weather and can withstand into the hundreds. Put a northerner down here and they'll die from the heat.
