Also, "Misspelt" is British English (the original), and "misspelled" is an American adaption.

The Americans went a bit overboard during the Boston Tea Party and threw out the letter T as well.

While we do have misspelled, misspelt is accepted in American English as well.

Can I burn you for not knowing that misspelt is an actual word? It's just British English.

It's American English too. Misspelt is a word in every kind of English. Now I can't stand Mondays for two reasons.
