Try throwing some hedge apples under your house, spiders run from the stuff like rodents from mint.

I have a little screw-top jar that I use to catch and release spiders. I just hate killing the little guys myself

Aw me too :( spiders freak me out in the bathroom but they're kinda cool.

I just pick them up and put them outside. Sometimes I'll use a piece of paper. My brother, on the other hand, actually catches them and keeps them as pets.

House spiders are physically incapable of surviving in the wild. They are prone to getting eaten, but usually they starve or freeze. Slowly.

Only kill the ones in your bed and save the ones in the bathtub. Let the rest keep their homes, and also, don't kill their food supply unless it is an immediate threat. Then, man and spider may coexist peacefully.

Unless they are huge I let 'em be. They keep the bugs out of the house in summer.

I once had a humongous bastard outside my bedroom door so I took some axe and a lighter and I did what I had to do or burn the house down trying
