Sometimes smugglers dissolve cocaine is liquid in order to transport them across the border. There was a case in the UK last year where a bottle of dissolved cocaine was delivered to the wrong person. That person kept it however and then their dad drank it, thinking it was some kind of soft drink, when in actaul fact it had £40000 of cocaine dissolved in it and he died of a heart attack.

Not saying that there was no cocaine in Coca-Cola. But his reaction to the high doesn't add up to what we know a cocaine high to be.

Originally coca cola was a headache cure and it actually is true that cocaine can stop a migraine in it's tracks. (Or according to House so I'm not really sure that cocaine actually does that)
