To me, supper and dinner are the same thing. Except in my house, we must call it supper, while some others call it dinner.

Supper is usually later in the evening, it can either be a small snack before bedtime (long after dinner) or it's a later dinner.

Personally I have breakfast dinner and tea..but it all depends on your location and how you were raised!

Dinner is a large meal eaten after the days work was completed. Supper is a sustaining meal that would be eaten closer to the time one goes to bed.
