This would be beautiful but I have a plot twist. Why if someone was given the wrong necklace and they have to search for the person how has theirs.

I've been writing something similar to this, except it's a bracelet. And I thought I had an original idea.

The downside to knowing with certainty that someone is there for you is when the person who has the other half of your necklace dies aged 10 or something before you met them and you then know that you'll be alone for the rest of your life. So sometimes not knowing leaves room for hope.

And the antagonist is a mad man who steals people's necklaces in order to become a huge playa because he was a massive dork in school.

There's a movie like this but it's a bracelet that counts down. It's got the chick that played Anya in buffy

*soulmate dies, your necklace gets extremely cold and you die too* or some random person takes necklaces from young children to melt down and refine into a statue of himself

Or if the main character's necklace was stolen, or their other half's?!

Just watched Timer because of this post. Sigh! I would get a timer.
