You probably haven't read anything that interests you. You're more likely to enjoy it if it's something you find interesting.

Try magazines, or books about things you're interested in, rather than stories. Or read the book of a film you've seen and see what's different. (If you do this with The Lorax or The Grinch it'll only take fifteen minutes to read the book.)
