Just to put it out there: Not all white people are uneducated! I admit there are a lot of ignorant and This guy was clearly a jerk, but most of us aren't like this
They brought that up because it was part of the post, but yeah. There are a lot of ignorant people all over the world. It's unfortunate that some still think that only one or two races are the main offenders.

That guy sucks. English is not the American main language as the law doesn't allow one to be chosen
Yes, because they definitely didn't immigrate to America at some point too......................................................................................................................................
I would love to see a picture of this ignoramous' face! she handled it with class. i swear if he sd this to me on the wrong day (i.e. today) i would have caught a charge.
America is the fucking continent; which is divided into three main sections, North America, Central America, and South America (though sometimes, some people like to merge Central with South, and call all that big section just "South America", which I totally despise). "America" is just an abbreviation people like to use because, obviously, no one likes to spend aaaall those seconds saying "United States of America", just like no one calls Mexico by its legal name either (though, I'm sure I heard they changed to just "Mexico").
So yeah, I'm kind of backing the previous guest in this one, America isn't just U.S.A, Canada and Mexico; it's also all the countries that are below them, like Guatemala, Honduras, Belice, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Panama, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Colombia, Brazil, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, you know all those other countries too.
Unless you've been taught that their are only 4 Continents, then North America and South America are different Continents, so no, "America" isnt the fucking continent as their are 2 of them. Central American countries are part of the North American CONTINENT. And if you haven't realized it by now, language was invented by people and changes constantly. Abbreviations happen all the time and become commonly accepted. When somebody says "Mexico" do you have no idea where they are talking about? You have to hear "United Mexican States" to understand? I suppose you also don't know where Russia or China are? Or plenty of other countries that actually have longer names but are abbreviated to one word. But your right, its those dam lazy "United States of Americans" that just can't spend aaaall those seconds to say it all.....theres definitely no other people that do it...
I just want to say I drive a luxurious truck, get different reactions. But the reaction that stands out the most is when "racist white people" have a look of disbelief to see a Latino come out of it. It's so easy to pinpoint it's unbelievable . I'm super respectfull to everybody, but don't let certain ignorants ruin It for the rest of the good natured people !

Ever think we are just admiring your truck?.. or a reaction of something entirely different ( say excessive noise)
Once a German exchange student at my school told another exchange student "Speak English, we are in America." That's the only time I've found that funny.
Even if the guy did think she was a new immigrant from Mexico, wouldn't it have occurred to him that maybe, just maybe, she was speaking to someone still in Mexico? Or am I just too used to people around me having common sense?
Eh, most of the people at my school either are smart or I don't talk to them. The ones I don't talk to I hate the most, as they have ruined my music class by yelling at me and only me for the most insignificant things. That's why I don't talk to them. It works quite well; they are only vocal in that one class.

My first language is French and I live in Canada. An old man once heard me on my cell talking to my mum and told me to "Speak white or separate from Canada already"
"White"? Seriously? But French is one of the official languages of Canada!

Apparently there are some people here who think all the francophones should hide away in Quebec

I live about on hour outside of Quebec. While I wont deny its frustrating to consistently have to explain to customers that I don't speak French. I have been to Quebec and gotten the same treatment .. where they wont speak to me unless I speak french. so Canada's ignorance goes both ways.
