She could very easily pull herself up by uses the shelfs. Don't judge someone else's situation until you know the full truth.

Many people get the impression that the use of a wheelchair is because a person is paralyzed from the waist down. So when people see this, they think why would she need it if she could have used a cane or a walker.

My mum has severe fibromyalgia and cannot stand or walk for more than 15 minutes, so she uses a wheelchair. Just because someone has a wheelchair doesn't mean they are paralyzed
