Excuse me. It shouldn't be legal for you to have a doughnut. I don't believe in doughnuts. Doughnuts are disgusting. If you had a doughnut, how would I explain it to my children? The most you can have is this bagel. It's like a doughnut, but without all of the benefits of a doughnut. You're lucky I'm letting you have that.
Um, I think those "bagels" that you are referring to should only be sold in certain states- you know, traditional states with good values just aren't ready for the whole concept of bagels, and Lord forbid doughnuts!! Just be patient and maybe we'll let you in the bakery metaphorically. One day. Not today.

Your doughnut is hurting me by being against my beliefs which aren't actually founded by my religious book! Basically, you can't eat doughnuts BECAUSE I SAY SO. doughnuts and same sex marriage are no where near closely related. The doughnut cannot behave a certain way like a person can. I have nothing against same sex marriage but using this analogy is pretty stupid.

I thought Songofthwhitestag was cool at first, but now he is a bit much. Pretty much now if you are against gays or say something he does not like, you get downvoted. People see absolutly no flaws in him because they are afraid of saying something to a gay person then being called an ignorant asshole.
.. I didn't downvote anyone. And anyway, people tend to downvote what they don't agree with. People also tend to state /why/ they disagree. It's completely reasonable.
Sorry I'm late to this (time zones are tricky) but I just want to be clear that this is my post, and a lot of the "gay" posts are from me, being that I am a non heterosexual woman and find it okay to talk about. There are literally hundreds and hundreds of posts on here talking about men/women couples, or jokes with heterosexuals in them- I don't feel bad for taking about 0.02% of that space to talk about LQBTQI related things, and Song shouldn't either.

If people are uncomfortable using homosexual slurs, I think that is a fantastic thing personally- but I think we need to look around and notice that all strong opinions here get equally strong feedback, not just conservative ones. Everyone has the chance of getting downvoted- it just depends on who is watching.
