Too late guest! Also if you're insinuating that I'm not smart or accomplished enough then you should know that I graduated high school in eighth grade and own my own high performance speed shop (that's race cars incase you were confused). What the fuck have you done with your life that you should judge anyone?
Just my opinion.
You should probably know the sentence "I graduated high school in eighth grade" makes no sense whatsoever. You may have skipped grades, but I'm not aware of the possibility of someone graduating high school whilst simultaneously still attending eighth grade.
(Also I'm not the same guest as before, and if you really believe in dragons I'd like to know why)
Basically I had passed all high school proficiency tests in grade eight (GED equivalent) and still attended high school although I wasn't required to. Things were different then, I don't even think that now they would let an eighth grader take those tests but our school was one of those experimental schools.
As far as dragons go, there's been so many accounts of them in almost every culture, since forever that it just kind of makes sense. I would like to believe that they existed at one time. I've never seen Jesus but I believe he's real.
Sorry if I came off like an asshole earlier, was having a very bad morning.
I'm guessing you watched one of those specials on the history channel about dragons or something, but the simple fact is that most myths about dragons can be attributed to fossils. There's a reason why dragons in Europe are depicted as smaller and winged and dragons in the east are depicted as usually much larger and wingless. It's because in Europe they found the fossilized remains of pterosaurs, but in the East they found the remains of large flightless dinosaurs.
Also there is a difference between believing in a man for which there is actual historical documentation (never mind what the bible says he did because I don't believe in any of his miracles), and believing in mythical beasts that breathed fire.
Even in the Bible, dragons are mentioned at least 15 different times. Just saying they got dragons from somewhere as Pebbles has already stated, and these references are even older than the ones from Medieval times and other periods of history.
These stories are from things witnessed by countless cultures and countries and at times where dinosaurs were way past extinct. I'm not saying they existed for a fact (which would be awesome) but there is always truth somewhere in legends.
I've always wondered if maybe the dragon concept just came from the discovery of dinosaur fossils by people who had no way of knowing how old they were. But that's just an idea.
But who will really know? they could have totally existed and maybe even ruled the world at one point no one can really know what happened like 300 years ago
I think it's safe to say that there were not dragons flying around during the 18th century. Though, I get what you're saying that I can never disprove your claim that there were dragons since I can't physically go back and check, but there isn't really any evidence for your side other than their existence in myths and legends.
Got one, specific to you guys, I do not believe that Jennifer Lawrence is "hot" or beautiful, I also do not see her as amazing. She is pretty uncultured and clearly doesn't understand the typical etiquette for situation that she amazingly attends. I also fond it funny that you all believe she doesn't care about weight, when she herself has high metabolism which takes care most of her food for her, so sorry mates. Also, my alias is not intended to be a female name, I am actually a guy. Teehee
I don't like to eat healthy. I like eating fried chicken and honey walnut shrimp. It's not healthy, but I'd honestly rather be eating a bag of chips than an apple.
I agree with everything you just said, except the shrimp. Me and shrimp don't get along. And have you ever had a pink lady apple? Cause pink ladies are the shit.
I love sliced apples with caramel sauce. I used to love eating them at mcdonalds and Burger King, but they stopped serving their caramel sauce. I got sad because I dipped my chicken nuggets in the caramel sauce. Sounds disgusting but it tastes amazing.
Not really sometimes seemingly opposite things go well. I put grape jelly on my grilled cheese. I also like honey with my spicy chicken nuggets. Not honey mustard, actual honey.
Pink lady apples are my favourite apples. I don't like shrimp though. I don't like seafood in general. And I'm starting to not like meat more and more. But I like junk food.
I don't believe in the Christian God. I can't disprove the existence of some unknown deity, but I have no idea why anyone would accept the Christian/Catholic doctrine. It's just so far fetched and nonsensical.
I know that, but I was raised a Christian and it is the religion with which I am most familiar, so I wouldn't feel comfortable bashing religions that I am unfamiliar with because I may not have all the facts. However, I do agree with you that all organized religion pretty much seems full of shit.
I'm an atheist because I can't understand the existence of a higher being. It's not that I hate religion or anything, I just think that there isn't a higher being that controls things and that life is chaos we try to organize and make sense out of.
See I think that's crazy. I look around at this amazing universe and just wonder how can you not think something set it into motion. And just to be clear. I'm chriatian and I don't think god controls everything. I think he just sets things in motion and watches what happens, and very rarely intervenes.
I'm like pebbleinthepond, except different. Although I would partially agree that God doesn't "intervene," but only because "intervene" implies that, prior to intervening, he was not involved. I believe God can't really intervene because, most of the time, He is already thoroughly involved. I believe Him to be dynamic and constantly active in the lives of His children. Like a good father would be.
A lot of the posts on Funsubstance recently have been kind of inappropriate. I don't like those kind of posts because they make me uncomfortable.

Y...you mean I'm not supposed to hate people by default? *life crisis*
Just my opinion.
