All plastic bags are interwoven with steel trapping mechanisms. Common knowledge, of course!

if that thing explode, the bag gets destroyed too - its not only with small bottles, you have to do that too to normal bottles (for drinking usw).
And i´m sure - if anyone put liquid explosive stuff in a bottle and fire it up..that bag doesnt help much.. but hey, if you switch your table up on landing it maybe save your life *jiggle* :)

The last time I was on a plane I didn't have to put my drinking bottles in a plastic bag or my nasal spray.
And you need to put the tray table up because if you leave it down and the plane crashes the table could cut you in half.

i know why you need to put the table up^^ but its from a joke from mario barth where the only guy from a plane crash that is still alive say something.. a interviewer ask him why he its the only living guy - he say.. "i put the table up"..^^
