I went to an American restaurant once.. And they actually served me potato as vanilla ice cream... I told my waiter, I ended up getting my meal free because they accidentally took the plate that was going on display at the window.

On Just For Laughs Gags, they set up a booth and gave away free ice cream samples, so they could get people's opinions on the new flavor, except it was actually butter.
