I think that this is a very good point. Some people don't even have family yet they don't complain while when people don't have a Valentine, they tend to overreact.
My "valentine" (well someday he doesn't know about it yet hehe) lost his mother just awhile back. This is the worst thing I can imagine, and I just want you all to be thankful for your parents. Even if they're shitty sometimes, you need to love them.
I think they have it worse, since it's THEIR mother. Poor guy/girl. My best friend lost her father a few years ago, I couldn't possibly imagine what she was going through. Ugh so sad.
I don't think it's really fair to simply compare that. Everybody has their own problems, which can be the loss of family members - which of course is terrible - or to be lonely on valentines, which isn't nice either. Simply tell the other ones to shut up because somebody might be in a worse situation isn't gonna make anything better. They are both lonely in their own way and they both deserve to be loved.
Thank you! I was just thinking the same. I don't have a father on fathers day anymore, or a valentine. But I don't expect other people to "shut up" just because I'm "worse off".
Exactly. You can't compare. There will always be someone who is worse off..
But there are people that complain too much about little things, then I do want them to shut the hell up..
I'm pretty sure they're missing their parents every day of the year not just valentines day

Ahem: It's called joking around? I really don't care if I have a valentine or not but I like joking around. Forever alone is a meme, c'mon no need to be a dick about it:( *fortifies self in pillow fort* *grabs nutella, soda and cellphone with many series and anime on it* *awaits dislike hell*
