They were both great and unique films, just because the characters sorta resembled each other doesn't mean that either one of them copied the other. The plots were really different and the movies had different messages.

How about the fact that 'Frozen' or 'Snow Queen', which was the original title by Hans Christian Andersen was written in 1845. I'd say that makes 'Frozen' more original & unique than 'Hunger Games'.

Yeah but the "mahogany" line is from Hunger Games, not Catching Fire.
