Just because you're not religious doesn't mean you should say that about others religions, it's something that people genuinely believe in. Stop being an asshole
But religion shouldn't be something to believe blindly in...Until now, every single religion teacher i've had told us that we have to understand religion as a form of metaphor and that we have to take the good things out of it, not believe every word from the bible.
Extremes in religions can escalate really badly and everyone knows that by now.
one time my friend whose mom is super catholic told her sister to be quiet and go read the bible, then without missing about her sister turns around and says without blinking "Sorry, but i don't read fiction." I'm not trying to insult anyone, i just thought it was a funny story and a great comeback
I know most of you don't know much about the Dewey Decimal system, but when it was created, besides including religious texts (all religious texts, not just one, which I think is impressive for the time) he also included myths, legends and fairy tales in non-fiction. So Cinderella is in that section too. I think we can agree that religious stories at least have some historically accurate parts, even if you don't believe.
By putting Cinderella in the non-fiction section, didn't Dewey just completely undermine the entire point of his own system? No one will go looking for fairy tales near the other non fiction books, nor will look for nonfiction where Cinderella is...
