Well if they said outright that they wore those colors to support homosexuality Russia might not have let them compete.

Plus gays don't own rainbows, and just wearing one doesn't mean you're supporting gay rights. As Sigmund Freud said, "Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar." Wearing rainbows just for rainbow's sake is all that's happening here.

Actually, they wore rainbow to support their president who couldn't be there because he was openly gay and was not allowed.

Yeah, entire stadium had empty seats in the lower parts, which I guess makes sense because a lot of the fancy special effects stuff was happening up in the air and they had fog coming out on the lower parts. But I could be wrong.

actually they are wearing yellow, green, and blue colored jackets, thats not the full rainbow
