Pedophilia= Harmful to the child. Incest= Harmful to the offspring that can result from it. Homosexual Marriage= Harmful to nobody except the hetero people who CHOOSE TO FIXATE ON THE LIVES OF OTHER PEOPLE.
Actually the homosexual lifestyle is extremely dangerous an the life span of homosexual males is on average 30 years shorter than other males and the offspring will just be aborted that's aparently doesn't harm the child

1.
the way in which a person or group lives.
"the benefits of a healthy lifestyle"
synonyms: way of life, way of living, life, situation, fate, lot; More
You choose a lifestyle. I'm a vegetarian. That's a lifestyle I chose. I'm a gay transsexual. That's not a lifestyle because I didn't choose it. It's who I am. You wouldn't say a person's skin color is a "lifestyle". And there's nothing about loving someone of the same sex that would bring our life expectancy down. Well. Except homophobia. They did find that homophobia and stress from it does make our lives shorter. Also, getting AIDS isn't a "gay thing" anymore. Straight people get it just as easily and it's spreading faster amongst them than us.
Having a relationship is a choice. Physical intimacy is a choice. Getting married is a choice. Going to "gay pride" rallies is a choice. How you choose to identify yourself is a choice. You don't choose how you were born, but you do choose what you're going to do about it. I think the word "lifestyle" is totally applicable.
And just in reference to the post, I have personally never met anyone who is opposed to gay marriage because "it's disgusting".
You can be a homosexual or bisexual or transsexual without physical intimacy, we are not defined by who are partners are. I am pansexual and a member of the gay community, and am no less a member of that community when I am with a straight man or bisexual man or I am single. I am still not a heterosexual, I still exist as a gay person. Lifestyle is not the correct word, your sexual identity is who you are.
Sure. And if you're not living a homosexual lifestyle, you aren't living a homosexual lifestyle, regardless of whether you actually are "homosexual." Just a few hours ago, one of my closest friends told me he is attracted to people of the same sex. He doesn't pursue those feelings though. Is he gay? Sure. Is he living a gay lifestyle? No, because he has chosen not to. There is a distinction. Sorry if it wasn't very clear what I was taking about.
pray tell what a "gay lifestyle" is? is it parading around in tight neon colored clothing and making out with random men in gay bars? because that is so stereotypical and bigoted. im a pansexual woman and a bit of a tomboy. its who i am and i live the way I choose. i dont conform to what our twisted society considers "gay" or "straight". my lifestyle is "me" and you"d do well to recognise that. and please consider the backlash you'll get for saying bigoted things, regardless of your being a bigot yourself.
Umm... okay. I guess if parading in tights and making out with everyone you see is what you want a "gay lifestyle" to be, go ahead. Just remember that you're the one who said it, not me. :P
That's an interesting way to look at things- so heterosexuals who are in relationships and/or having sex are living a heterosexual lifestyle, the way you define "lifestyle" to be. Would that mean even if they are married, when they are engaging in sex for pleasure and not procreation (as I hear rumors they do) that's a sin, the same sort of sexual misconduct that some Christians believe homosexuality to be?
@tomfeltonsass I implied nothing -- I said what I meant to say. I didn't even say anything about a gay lifestyle being a bad thing -- I only said it exists. If you have to put words in my mouth in order to make your arguments, you might want to reconsider your position.
And that's good. No gay people I know act like that either. So where did you get the idea from?
@saviourself Yes, they are living a heterosexual lifestyle. I don't have sex or anything but I ask girls on dates and intend to get married. So yes, heterosexual lifestyle. For the second part, I think that would assume that having sex for any reason other than procreation is a sin, and I don't believe that to be true. Birth control is not against my religious beliefs, for example. Physical intimacy also acts as an expression of love and commitment between a couple. And I definitely steer clear (as Jesus did) of radical Christians who believe that pleasure is inherently sinful. So I disagree with your conclusion.
Yeah... almost as funny as you telling yourself that I have views that I don't have. I understand that it's a lot easier to feel justified in hating people who disagree with you and not taking the time to consider their opinions if you can convince yourself that they are either too evil or too stupid to be worth considering, but with all due respect, that's exactly why we're having this problem in the first place. Lying to yourself only makes you look foolish, and it sure as heck doesn't help your position.
This is a waste of time; if you're really so far in denial that you think you know what my views are better than I do, there's nothing I can do for you. Have a nice day.
