In Canada, hockey is more important than classes

In Slovenia we watched the olympics in classes too. All the time.... Basically did nothing this week

We don't have school today, the roads were too bad

At my school yesterday, kids were using their iPads during class to keep track if the Canada America game. During science the sub even let us stop class temporarily to see who won.

O I live in Orange County and no one here really pays attention to the Olympics.....

Half of the people in my English class were watching the hockey game and 0 people in my Computer Science class, which is right after my English class, were watching the game.

That's what we did in america

Some friends who are still in high school told me that some teachers let them watch the Olympics the last 15 minutes of each period

dats cute guys. i live in the heart of canada and all we did today in my classes was watch the olympics. because whats school ;P

The Olympics aren't even airing here in New Zealand.

I live near Seattle and after the Superbowl there was a Seahawks parade downtown and like half the kids in my school went to the parade (it was on a Wednesday).

I'M NOT EVEN KIDDING I WENT TO SCHOOL AND WE HAD THREE TESTS FOR THAT DAY, ALL CANCELLED BECAUSE THE TEACHERS DIDN'T WANT TO MISS ANYTHING. MY DENTIST APPOINTMENT WAS CANCELLED BECAUSE THEY COULDN'T PULL THE DENTISTS AND CLIENTS AWAY FROM THE TV I SHIT YOU NOT

We don't work half the day because of hockey games.
