Just did some more research on this, cause it's actually pretty interesting. In case you care: this picture is actually not of Aerogel or Aerographite, and neither of those are the least dense substance. This is a picture of Aerographene, or Graphene Aerogel, and it IS currently the world's lightest substance. Until 2011, silica aerogel held the Guinness World Record for lowest-density solid, though it was ousted by the even lighter materials aerographite in 2012 and then graphene aerogel in 2013. This field of "lightest materials" is constantly evolving, so within a few years the lightest material has changed several times. To conclude, in order of lightness:
1) Aerographene (Pictured Here)
2) Aerographite
3) Aerogel
