My Spanish teacher drilled into us that we would basically die in college. I think her words were somewhere along, "If you're getting all A's in high school, you better prepare for a C average in college." I had all A's in high school, and my GPA for my first freshman semester was the same as my high school GPA.

hahaha, i know right? My first semester freshman was higher than my senior GPA. Dang lying teachers.
I'm the opposite. Straight A's in high school with little effort, ans straight C's with a few B's in college...Michigan engineering was WAY harder than high school...
Open response/Short answer were the best. You never actually had to have it exactly right, you just had to write something that sounds like you knew what you're talking about...or just write what the teacher wants to hear, easy as that.
Oh, I had a handful of worthless teachers over the years, but internet wasn't a thing for most of my childhood, so we just had to deal with it and learn anyway.
Doesn't help that most of these I can easily imagine coming from "problem students".
Well for the none of above and all of able narrows it down to two answers. Because if it was none of the above, the answer would be all of the above. But that couldn't be it, because if it was that then none of the above would be part of the answer. Do I make sense?
Mean 'ol Teach making your lives miserable? Good. Maybe you'll grow some character.
