^ That. That right there. It's not really equal is it? I mean.. How do the men get to dress? Oppression can be part of a religion. If she chose to dress that way, that would be different. But there are many countries where she must dress like that. In that case, it may be religion, but it is also oppression.
One must remember... that in those places... some of the men... are just terrible... and if I were a woman... I would try my best to hide ... for my own protection..
Islamic law dictates.. that men should lower their gazes in the presence of women.. and treat your wife with utmost love and affection... the hijaab is... is a bit much... but it is not a necessary thing to wear... most women wear it to jus try to protect themselves from the gazes of other men...
don't lie... you see a hot girl pass... you would stare at her up and down .. savour everything... and if she lives in an islamic state.. and she is married to you... it would not be a nice feeling knowing other men jus looking at your wife suggestively.. so she covers her face to avoid this..
that is why.. in a nutshell... there is alot more.. but I think you catch the drift

Me: His eyes are like the ocean.
Friend: Which is?
Me: Beautiful.
People say women are opressed and forced to hide themselves from men. However, if you think about it, by dressing this way no man can judge them. No one is ugly, all women are equal and no one has to be jealous.
