420 is the number associated with smoking marijuana, so 4/20 is the day to smoke, and it just so happens to be Easter on the same day this year.

Fun Fact: My younger sister was born on 4/20 and got a puppy last year for her birthday, guess what she named it? Blaze. Guess how old she is? 7. She has no idea how funny she is yet.

I think you're the one that's stupid. I don't understand how it's greedy. I'm not sure if you are or not, but I'm going to assume you're a Christian, and if you are, your goal is to get people to believe in God. If you're going to get people to believe, they have to be aware of Christianity. Easter is all about Jesus and a ton of people celebrate it-Christian or not. So if non-Christians are celebrating it, they might wonder what exactly they're celebrating or they might be interested in going to church. Just like that, some non-Christians who celebrate Easter are along their way to Christianity.

Why does it matter if I'm another religion or atheist? You'd be surprised how many people don't know about Christianity. What about Halloween? Everyone celebrates that, but do you know where it came from? Romans honoring The lord of the dead. Christians everywhere celebrate that-maybe even you-and they don't believe in the true meaning of Halloween; I doubt you've ever had a problem with Christians celebrating it. I hate to be all preachy and all, but....if you're not converting people, what are you doing? I wouldn't ask you that if you hadn't put it so bluntly and like you didn't give a shit about not converting.

Hmmm what an assumption. It's not like I've never been to church before. 13? I'd say that's plenty old enough. Don't give me the pass out bible bullshit. I think we both know there's lots of better ways. How is Halloween any different?

Also, I hope you realize you aren't representing Christianity very well.

@hiapoe: How can you say Halloween is completely different? It is a perfectly good example, you just don't seem to like that being pointed out to you because it shows how hypocritical you are. You say you aren't trying to convert - I agree, instead you just seem to be trying to put down and insult those who think differently to you; well, that's not very Christian, is it? And me eating chocolate is "taking advantage" of Easter? Please, don't lie to yourself; all major Christian festivals nowadays have been commercialised to within an inch of their lives - I totally understand and know fully the Christian lore and belief behind Easter, and I appreciate it's importance to some people, I just don't care for it myself. Easter signifies an abundance of chocolate for me, and that's just as acceptable as it signifying Jesus's death and return for you. And stop calling people names like "dumb asshole" and "stupid" - it's just rude and diminishes the credibility your argument immensely.

Koreantacobellnuke isn't an "idiot" and he didn't butt in - I appreciate you weren't trying to upset me (don't worry, I'm not upset) but are you able to see you went for Korean all guns blazing and weren't afraid to upset them?

It's only normal for someone of a religion to want to convert people, it's kinda what they do. But, your statement, and your "argument" or whatever you would like to call it, really confused me. I've never heard anybody saying "Don't eat this because you are not of this religion".
