Not a V16. It's called a W16 'cause it's got 2 "V" shaped engine banks. VV looks like a' W' so it's called a W16

Actually double V-16. But then the German for W sounds like 'double vay' hence the confusion.

A W engine is two VR engines sharing the same crank shaft. Look up a VR6 you will see it.
