The only thing that will teach people like Miley (besides a severe beating, which honestly, isn't cool.) Is to end up getting kidnapped overseas and subsequently rescued by the Marines.

I'm sorry, I'm really, really sorry but I'm going to say it... I can not remain silent on these dimwitted nitwits any more:
Over privileged cunts like this do not deserve any of the protections and freedoms that are afforded to them by a large standing military... the very existance of which is a deterant in itself.
I'm a mechanic in the 2nd Canadian Armoured Brigade And we are constantly fixing every vehicle we have. Leopard 2's, Mercede's Benz G class, LAV 3's... It's not easy, you have to commit each and every single Engine to memory, and most of the Time I'm the only one mechanic in our hangar, so I'll have to do it by myself
Sounds like you need more mechanics man. I would not be able to commit those engines to memory because I can barely remember what I did two days ago in detail. I plan on doing Electrical engineering. I always thought of what I wanted to do when I grow up ghen while I was in Electronics it clicked (ay?) I really loved doing electrical work, seeing things turn on & light up. Though it is frustrating when you have to go and find the issue because it can literally by anything.
Miley is the kind of girl that would score single digits on the ASVAB. She can keep insulting us if she can get an 95 like one of my good buddies or an 89 like myself. On top of that, if I knew anything about automotive other than the basic functions of some parts, I'd easily have gotten a 92+, myself.
I swear I took a practice ASVAB and the arithmetic fried my mind before I got to the other stuff. I know why they make you do all the sections but maybe they should give you a test based on the job that you wish to have.
No, because the sub-scores determine which jobs you would be best in and qualify or disqualify you for them as well. Then, for the specialist fields (at least the Navy Nuke program) you've got to take an additional test to actually get into it. I took it and only got about a 65 with a minimum of a 55. That test was VERY challenging compared to the ASVAB.
Don't feel bad though, the test/pre-test is actually very tough. Only about 1% of the US's people try out for the service and only about 1% of them get in.
Yeah. I don't know if you saw but I do know why they do it as you explained. I was just thinking their could be an easier way. But then again, the military isn't easy so no aspect should be treated as such.
