AAAAAAND that's why my Church of England primary school never did World Book Day - in case anyone came as someone from Harry Potter (or something similarly blasphemous) -_-
My aunt is afraid of the series and tried to get them banned at their pew jumping baptist school in the mountains. And some how she lost and a secrete donor donated 2 series. (My mom she's amazing)
And that's the problem with many of them. Not the trampling of the freedom of speach, not scientific ignorance... even the fear of losing the followers of their group think and the reprehensible means they will go through to prevent that.
.
It is their complete and total inability to separate and understand the difference between fact and fiction.
It's pretty great. The Church has always gotten up in arms about things that don't make sense. Fortunately, the one I go to is a lot more open-minded. I ran a game of D&D with the pastor, the youth pastor, and a couple of other guys, and we had a blast.
My church once had a high school student who turned every song into a screamo, we had mortal kombat on the N64. We discuss Halo, COD, Gears of War, Horror games like Slender and Amnesia. We love books like Harry Potter, and Films like Back to the Future. Only a few churches are full of people like flanders.

Same here! My church and parents are TOTALLY chilled about these types of things.
