Bleeding crayon art

How do you make one? Don't you just set the crayons on the canvas out in the sun?

You get a pack of 96 pack crayolas and maybe some random other packs like easter colors, then buy a canvas. Hot glue gun all the crayons on in rainbow order, then set up slanted against a two tripods of cans. I've heard of people using hair dryers, but I prefer a heat gun, (I have a martha stewart heat gun from michael's) because it's easier to control. You have to hold the heat gun close, and slanted down so the colors don't spray everywhere. I did this, but I haven't hung it up yet.
