It's not just different people who played robin, in the comics they were different robins altogether. For example, the first robin became Nightwing (a badass), yet some of the later ones absolutely sucked.

Well of course. Dick Grayson became Nightwing, Jason Todd became Red Hood. I was just giving a simple answer.

@stoner they don't mean different actors playing the character of Batman or Robin in movies or tv. They mean in the actual comics, the role of Robin was played by several different characters, while Batman is always Bruce Wayne

I was just assuming Stoner figured that, if not. Then.. Wow.

My local comic book store uses this question as a sizing up for new people "Who was your favorite Robin?" Anyone who answers Chris O'Donnell is sent to Barnes And Noble.

I remember at least ten different sidekicks, but there may be a couple more :P
