Could be your brain constructing "memories." Trippy. The brain can construct memories and I can't even remember what I had for lunch today.

My brain does that! I have memories of events I'm pretty sure never happened, but I feel that they are real

Deja vu is what it is usually called. I get it a lot. I think something happened before and it turns out it happen in a dream. Problem is that when that happens to me I get violently ill. Almost like motion sickness. My head hurts, I get real dizzy, I feel like I am going to be sick, and worse it won't stop till I stop thinking of the thing that made me that way. Sometimes it won't go away till I leave the place.

Happens to me all the time. When it's involving a person I'm cautious in what I'm saying/doing because I don't know if something that happened between us was in a dream or in real life
