I'm here too... Well let's see the higher pain tolerance is definatly true for me. But I'm really not allergic to anything except for bees and I almost never get a sunburn eventhough I work outdoors most of the time. And I would love to sell some of my fat on the black market!!
As a ginger as well I can say that the pain thing is very true for me. All my line on my mums side has the same allergy and I always get horrible sunburns :)
Redheads can never go extinct we're a mutation of a gene when two people with this gene (non-mutated) have a child there is a VERY high possibility that the gene will mutate causing red hair and there are so many people in the world with this gene that it is certain there will always be a mutated gene (btw I'm a mutant!)

Natural ginger here and the high pain tolerance is true. When I went in for surgery they had to ask of my hair colour was natural so they could dose me properly
I'm a proud ginger, and I have a high pain tolerance, I can't spend more than ten minutes in the sun without getting burnt (not exaggerating), but the only thing that doesn't apply to me is the allergies... I'm not allergic to anything.
I don't mind being a genetically mutated human.
Well people with blue eyes are genetic mutations too. It's not exactly rare, nor is it a big deal. It doesn't affect anything but the color of your eyes or hair.
Originally, we all had brown eyes...But a genetic mutation affecting the OCA2 gene in our chromosomes resulted in the creation of a “switch”, which literally “turned off” the ability to produce brown eyes”. The OCA2 gene codes for the so-called P protein, which is involved in the production of melanin, the pigment that gives colour to our hair, eyes and skin. The “switch”, which is located in the gene adjacent to OCA2 does not, however, turn off the gene entirely, but rather limits its action to reducing the production of melanin in the iris – effectively “diluting” brown eyes to blue. The switch’s effect on OCA2 is very specific therefore.
So in summary:
During mitosis, something went wrong and blue eyes were created. But it's not going to have an effect on anything but your eye color, so it's a neutral change. It's the same thing with red hair.
There's also so much more things wrong with this post. I wouldn't really take this too much to heart. This isn't genetic adaptation. While red heads need more anesthesia, they are more prone to tooth aches and cold weather. It's leaving out information.
That technically means blue eyes are divergent too.. But it doesn't have anything to do with your brain. It's not like Tris was redhead. Four wasn't either but not spoiling anything for anyone who hasn't read Allegiant !
I'm black and I have a relative with natural red hair because her mother is Irish and her dad is half Irish half African. So imagine what people say about an African American with natural red hair.
