... He was already on earth for years so he knew english just like the autobots did when they came, but he said that after he made a risky jump from the states to egypt and wasn't sure he did it right.

That line was right after they woke him up from the airforce museum, before they made the "jump" to Egypt. Just saying.

Whose to say he was speaking English? Suppose we were just hearing English. Universal translator.
