So Close, Yet So Far To Go....

The first word is doing fine. If a feminist wants to to some good, a lotta places in the 2nd and 3rd world need some help.

There are a lot of places in America that need help too- in most every cause- homelessness, hunger, sicknesses, etc., there are problems right around home you can dig into and make a difference. Of course, making connections in the international community are important and worthy too

I was talking about feminist issues, though you do raise valid points.

Feminism, especially the 2nd wave, has a ton of issues with race. 2nd wave feminism focuses mainly on gender equality and was run primary by white woman. 3rd wave feminism is all about sexual liberation and deconstruction and tries it's damnedest to include woman of color.
