You CANNOT get green from blue without yellow, but when you add yellow, it stops being blue and turns to green. You CAN get green from yellow by adding black, so green is actually a shade of yellow. That's why humans can see more varieties of green that any other color, because we perceive it from both blue and yellow (two of the three colors we can pick up) or just by yellow. (Caps for emphasis only.)
Green is primarily a secondary color. But in a way Jaden is right because our eyes pick up the light (color) that bounces off of something. And in this instance the green light/color of the spectrum bounces off meaning the tree is actually composed of all other colors. That purple top you’re wearing? it’s not purple it’s everything but purple
