Oh no. Once my cat went on a hunting spree. First, it was newts. 6 or 7 had been presented when she decided it was go big THEN go home. My cat brought in a mouse and when my mom woke up in the morning, a mouse was on her windowsill. I had to catch it by the classic paper under a bowl. Less than a month later, my cat brought in a mole. It tried playing dead, to I put it under a bowl and struggled to put paper on it. (FYI my cat brought it upstairs) I carried it downstairs but I fell, and the mole landed in my lap, but I managed to trap it again. My brother helped me take it back outside, and we released it back onto our lawn. I chased my cat around the house and sprayed her 5 times with a squirt bottle. Occasionally, our cat brings us a present though. When will she ever learn? -sigh- "Cats..."
Actually I read online that the cat only does that out of love and to teach you how to hunt as seeing you as their family, so in retrospect the cats trying to teach you
