If he really loved her, he wouldn't have cheated on her. Love is founded on trust. Once that is gone, love is never the same. Hurt lingers with every reminder. That's why many divorce. They can't put the hurt behind them and move on. There is always lingering doubt till it makes the person hurt question if it is worth being in a relationship and trying to rebuild trust and a broken heart at all. Sometimes it's the children that make people try at all...otherwise they would or should walk away.

Yes what you both say is true. But we do not know how he cheated. He could of just kissed another girl or maybe another girl kissed him. Plus this couple is young kids not adults. They are still at the age where a broken heart will heal in less than a month. Now if you see an older guy wearing this sign it is a different story. He did something much worse than a kiss. His girlfriend/wife should not take him back and if some how they do get back together it will be a long hard road to rebuild that trust. BUT like I said these are just kids.

So, you weren't allowed to have a bf, but your bf cheated on you? Either your dating or your not, if you told him you weren't allowed to, you can't really be mad at him for trying to date somebody else since he is single.
Also, wanting to still be friends with an ex doesn't automatically put you in the "horrible boyfriend" category. Lot of people are friends and try dating but it doesn't work out so they go back to being friends. He should have to cut off his friendship with somebody because you don't trust him? If you have that little trust in the guy, you shouldnt be dating him in the first place.
