Agreed. He was a racist, sexist and violent person that advocated for a voilent revolution to overthrow the government.

(Not just a "social revolution" for change.)
Aryan, as its referred to here, is indeed a race. He believed that instead of a general "Caucasian" race that every white person falls into, there were subsets of it, Aryan being one of them(and the "master race" at that). His mother was Catholic and his father was also a christian (although anticlerical, he didn't like how much power the clergy had). So he technically WAS a christian at one time, but he never actually practiced it once he left home.
He was also a strong politician and knew how powerful religion was (which he didn't like that other people could have power, he wanted it) so if the topic suited him, he would praise Christianity, even going so far as to claim Jesus was an Aryan (to attempt to get more people against the Jews). If it didn't help his agenda though, he would bash Christianity and just about every other religion. So if you went by his actual beliefs, he would probably fall more under atheist than anything else.
He was born a Christian, but he never actually believed in it. He didn't really believe in any specific religion, he just used whatever suited his agenda. He was a great politician and used religions to his advantage. If he thought he could use something from the Norse, he would praise the specific action he liked (note how I said he would praise the action itself, he wouldn't actually practice that religion, or promote that religion in general, just the piece that furthered his agenda) An example would be him believing Jesus was an Aryan, he didn't actually believe or practice Christianity of any sort, but he knew how many people did and wanted to try to get more of them on his side against the Jews
It kind of ticks me off that they've put Bill Gates in with Martin Luther King Jr. Like yeah, he made electronics, but it's not as though he did anything anywhere near as good as other people, and I'm sure they could have found a far, FAR more amazing atheist.
Let the downvotes commence.
That's a fair point, I probably should have looked a bit deeper into it...sorry for that, I won't delete it because that would remove context, but yeah my mistake
No problem. Hes that kind of guy and it's one of those things that he doesn't make a big deal about. He does it because it's the right thing to do, not to make a big deal about himself.

He will talk about it if asked though.

And yes, I'm the same way. I leave comments for posterity. I will edit though, if I see an error right after it goes up. I just wish we could use the strike through font so I could use it for corrections.
Just because you actually seem to know about this sort of stuff and I'm procrastinating but I'm too lazy to search my way through hundreds of articles, do you know if Steve Jobs has done anything like that?
Didn't think so....now I have another reason to dislike Apple. Not just because it's overpriced and more about the presentation than quality, also because they just didn't bother trying to do anything good for the world with their mounds of money. And judging by those articles, he chose to not do anything good with the things that were free, either. Honestly, how are people crediting him as a good person if he actually acted like that?
Thanks for your help, by the way.

That Dosen't make this any less true tho.

And Apple's philanthropic programs were closed in 1987 when he returned. They were never restarted dispite thier massive profit margin.
