Once in my school all gym classes were canceled and kids were free to not attend class for a day because there was a big game going on and they were streaming it in the gym. Canada ftw.

Lucky. Apperantly my cousins school(in LA) took the day off because it was the Armenian Independence Day or something

They did it in my school too when Finland played against Sweden.

this is was my school (mn) when the us played russia in the olympics except everyone was on their phones and ipads and laptops

They did this in my school one time, ever class was just watching the hockey game..It was playing in the foyer too so you could hear all the lound cheers all over the school... Canada

I don't think that you people fully understand this. During the Olympics, at my school anyways, our whole school stop classes and everyone gathered in the gym/classrooms (depending on grade) to watch the hockey games.

When my schools rival made it to the basketball playoffs we stopped some classes and rooted for them... awesome day!
