If you notice at the end they're like: Fox Person #1"Shit people are noticing how many blonde women we have!"Fox Person #2" We should add some more diversity....how about blonde males!" Fox Person #1: "You're a genius! Have a raise!"

No redheads, brunnettes, Asians, black people. Nothing. No wonder I never watch Fox News. Lol. X
I'm starting to notice a lack of diversity within our media and entertainment. Even if there are diverse people, most of the time, they portray their typical stereotypes. I really hope that our generation can change that.
This happens almost everywhere. They choose pretty faces with no brains to attract viewers. It's unfortunate but people with no brains have to work somewhere too, I guess.
I experienced this discrimination at the X-Factor auditions one time. My sister and I looked "young" enough to be chosen to sit near the front of the audience (the dude said they needed energetic and younger people to be in the camera).
We got seats so close to the judges that you can see the wrinkles in their leathery chairs. Unfortunately, me and my sister were moved because they said I was too tall. My sister noticed something fishy, however. She said that they were being racist because they replaced us with blond, white people who are just as tall as me (we're Filipino, and I mean no offense to white people).
I was skeptical at first and I brushed it off as a coincidence. However, my sister observed that all of the people in the front row were mostly light-skinned, blond, and in their early teens. We were moved next to people who were more "diverse" Latinos, Blacks, and Asians who were out of the camera's shot.
Wow... Thanks for sharing the story, I never knew they were THAT discriminating. Apparently the media think that white blonde people are the most "appealing", which is nonsense. We're all people, aren't we? Why put some in the spotlight and some to the back? I never understood this.
I'm sorry if I'm preaching, but I wanted that off my chest. I was oblivious to this until that day. But now, I see it everyday in the media: You can see the lack of diversity on SNL; Dave Chapelle and Aaron MacGruder were screwed over on their own shows. Sure, times are WAAY better and open for us "minorities", but this still exists. It's just more subtle.
Despite all of this shit being spawned from our generation, I believe this is the way we can be redeemed. We know better than to be so close-minded. I believe that we can replace the people making these decisions and lessen the selectiveness. I believe all races can be represented equally in the spotlight.
It's okay, man. As a white girl living in a mostly white populated country I've encountered racial discrimination very rarely, so I'm glad that someone is willing to share some experience. The media are pretentious and dumb and I hope that your country has more people with common sense than these media-driven zombies.
Whoever made this has never even seen Fox news. Only a couple are even from fox, and Glen Beck, one of the dudes, isn't fox news either.
Ever heard of Harris Faulkner? She is black and is part of one the largest shows on fox.
Clearly you don't actually watch Fox News they have a diverse group of employees just like every other station but whoever made this only used the anchors they knew would make it look bad. Perspective
I have watched Fox News. My dad has the living room TV on that channel all the time.
I was just making a joke. It's ironic how people make dumb blonde jokes but here you have a large group of blonde, educated women making a good living on a big news station.
@nerdsarecool Your comment is just a bit out of context and it misses the point of the post. It's okay because I didn't learn this until freshman year but, Fox News is known for being conservative. Hence the lack of differences in races or hair color. I'm not trying to diss you or anything, I'm just trying to make you aware of why people would thumb you down.
I know they're conservative. That's why my dad watches it. Trust me I know the point of tbe post. I'd figure people would give me thumbs down, but it's their problem if they can't take some humor. I don't know why they're even on this site if they can't take a joke.
Implying I'm not mixed with white/European
But who cares, right?
