James Avery was a great man and actor and the fact that he felt this way for his fellow actor is amazing. RIP James Avery

Actually, Will's dad has always been there for him. True his parents separated when he was 13 but they didn't get divorced until 2000. He's talked multiple times about his dad supporting him when he got his record deal in high school and about lessons he taught him.
