Your dog's aunt and uncle are very talented. Most dogs can just about manage fetching stuff but not many dogs can address and put a package through the mail.
I highly doubt he/she would let the dog eat pieces of the bottle. Also only like 3 little pieces come off the bottle, the cap, the thing that holds the cap, and the wrapper. The bottle can't be chewed to tiny scrapes.
First this may be a website but I don't appreciate being called a faggot. Second I have dogs. I had dogs since I was born so I know what I'm talking about. I give my dogs bottles and even though it's plastic it's really strong. To this day I haven't seen any of my dogs chew up the bottle at all. I would also like to point out that dogs don't even try to eat the bottle they usaully chew on the top where the cap is. Even if a dog does manage to rip the bottle apart the owner should be responsible enough to take it away.
I figured since I'm a plastics engineer I should step in...the bottle itself is generally made from blow molded polypropylene which has a relatively high tensile and strain (it's stretchy) and a ductile (not brittle) impact given that it probably has a coplymer base.
Thus your dog can chew and chew, and it may puncture the bottle but not tear it to pieces...just take away the cap, since that may be polyethylene based and much more brittle/prone to cracking.
Hope that alleviates some concerns. :)
