Duck are notoriously bad parents. They will take their chicks through mud and keep walking even if their babys get stuck and die. Ducks will also lead their chick into water that has a shore, swim to the other side and fly out onto land that is now raised above the waterline, leaving their chicks crying for help until a predator finds and eats them, all the while the mama duck keeps walking on.

There is more picture where a female cop saves the rest of the chicks and its soo sweet, if she werent, they may haved died down there :)

There should be warning this just made me cry.
