Just to make a point here, the face of your perfect girl you imagine may not be a face of someone, but the combination of multiple faces (eyes of this person, nose of that person..).
Aside from that, it's true that the brain cannot "create" a face without a base like that.
PS: Ever wondered why in most movies and games they say "ficticional characters. Any similarity to a real person is coincidence"?. Well, now you know :)
I Can rem Dream. Like, i Dream Something and make my own choices where to go, also i Can choose when to fly etc. I also choose when to wake up from a Dream. Its not always i Can do it, but it happens
I got no idea tbh. When i get it I know im dreaming and im asleep. At that point i Can keep myself asleep or wake myself up (pretty handy at nightmares) sometimes if i Dream Something really fucked up, i go; what the hell? In my Dream. Kinda having a conversation with myself while sleeping. I Can also Dream that im sleeping while sleeping.
Let me just say Sleep Paralysis is the scariest thing that has ever happened to me! & Lucid Dreaming is great if you can control it the whole time (or minds are a bit evil), I don't know too many people that can do it.
I Lucid dream several times a week, and have been able to since i was a teenager. I takes some practice and a level of consciousness that recognizes that what's happening is a dream, and that you're asleep. That being said, i think there is a genetic component to it, since most people i know can't lucid dream, while several of my family members can.
Maybe I am just out of practice with it, I haven't tried purposely since I was a teenager... I do know that if I fall asleep thinking about something I end up dreaming it but my mind takes over and twists it.
Why was this so overly sexualized? Why can't I dream about flying over a nice field of pretty flowers or reading all the books in the world? Why do I have to dream about a midget orgy? No thanks.
Thanks, zmatrixng. I appreciate your help. I guess I've just been denying my fetish. Thank you for helping me realize it. I've come to embrace it. And I couldn't have done it without you.
One time I was dreaming that I was in my bed and that I couldn't move nor breathe, and when I woke up I had a paralysis cause I couldn't breathe nor move and I felt like I was choking and it was horrible
Ouch! Once I had a dream that was me as slendy and I tried to get in a office but police shot me so I warped... When I WANTED to warp! Then I woke and had paralysis for 30 sec. And i saw a demon sitting on me.
As a child I thought everyone was able to dream lucid. That was normal dreaming for me. Needless to say, my parents never had trouble putting me in bed and I still sleep 10 hours a night.
You can train this. If you keep up and be patient you can definitely learn this. That is another reason lucid dreaming is awesome. It's not only for a small group of people.
Can anyone explain why I've been able to be in bed, be wide awake, blink, and then it's instantly morning? No in between, just awake, staring at the ceiling, *blink*, wait, where's the moon? Am I a time lord? Am I Celestia?
Just blink, right now. The space of time it took you to blink? That's how fast the night disappeared.
That was a joke.
No one can remember exactly when he falls asleep, or (hardly ever) when did he awaked, because your brain takes those memories as not important (nothing relevant happens on that time) and erases them.
Also, you don't remember every dream you have. Most people remember one per night, but in fact you dream several times. Sometimes you cannot even remember one dream, that is when you say "i didn't dreamed today".
If you put those two things together maybe the explanation is something close to that.
Still, even without remembering a dream it's very rare to fall asleep and then wake up feeling like no time has past.
I've done a lot of research and even a study project (I study psychology) about dreaming and sleep in general and I've never read about anything like this. I hope you at least feel rested when you wake up.
Nice. Keep at it! I got a doctorate in Biology, Chemistry, and Robotics. It sucked so much at the time, but now I work in a lab. It's actually really cool. We're working on a cure for cancer (we think nanotechnology is our best bet, and could provide jobs to those who are brilliant at videogames), and attempting to create actual Pokemon. We've been working on creating a Bulbasaur. Don't worry, we don't test with animals yet. We want to be one billion percent positive that it will work without hurting the animal. Mostly we just run programs, testing every possible theorem.
You got any special goals?
