In the Tobey Maguire spider-man, Peter is more of a shy, book nerd. In the Andrew Garfield spider-man, Peter is more of a skaterboy who gets made fun of. Different kinds of nerds I guess?
They say you cant beat the original.
I was honestly in love with the cartoons of Spider man, but then I watched 2002 Spider man (fell in love with that) then I watched the 2013 Spider man and fell head over heels for that.
I love them all.
I agree with you paaaisleyy.
I really liked Tobey more but atleast Andrew didn't disappoint
.
You just don't judge the character by the hotness of the actor
The need for the new one was clearly evident in the warped storyline of the Ramai trilogy. Tobey was a great actor in his own right, but he missed a few key aspects of spidey.
I don't know, man. I mean, Peter Parker is an awkward, averagely looking bookworm. I think Tobey captured that pretty well. Andrew isn't bad either, but he's just...too hot. Peter isn't supposed to be very hot. This is what separated him from most superheroes - unlike them, he's no handsome cool muscular dude. He's athletic, but rather thin, he's a nerd...he's the kid most people would sit next to at lunch only if there were no other places left. He's not a chick magnet like this guy.
I admire Andrew and I think he's a remarkable actor, it's just that Tobey fits the role better to me.
