I seem to be the only one of my friends who can handle being single. Half of them feel like they have to be with someone all the time. I've never actually dated, but there's no one that's ever really caught my attention long enough that I would consider being in a relationship with them. I have other plans in life and I'm not making finding a husband and having children a priority. If it happens, it happens.

I used to do the same thing, but then I met my current boyfriend and I'm a lot happier and don't say things like this any more.

I tell people I don't want to have kids because I can't bear to say out loud "I have a condition that makes it impossible for me to have kids"
