And yet the American people haven't demanded justice and stopped the American government from robbing us of our constitutional rights...he should be a hero, the US government should be on the run.
I think he was a hero, but the consequence of releasing that info killed soldiers and operations by releasing info that other countries could use. He is on the run by the patriots act of 2001 and by law he committed treason. Yes that info opened eyes but the consequences were far greater then those shown on TV or the new. How many of use really went through all those documents?

Thank you, momoomomoo! I agree - so few people seem to appreciate the damage caused by his actions. Yes, he may have released information to the public, but how much of the public actually cared? How many acted or changed as a result of having this new information available? And all at the cost of soldiers' safety and lives, as well as the destruction of many important and delicate secret operations.
Then he fled to Russia and before that I doubt he even tried to make a change in the US or change something legally before he stole government secrets...Not saying that what the government was doing was OK but this man isn't a hero
I'm pretty darn sure, nothing he released endangered any soldiers or military action. That's what TPTB want you to believe....I would love a link to anything that points otherwise. I read many of the cables, mostly to do with spying on its people and our allies.
I am offended by that term because I have a friend who is mentally unstable and when people see him, they say retarted, faggot, cock sucker without knowing what his condition is.
I HAVE A BLUE STAR!!
How did that happen?
